Apple Plumbing, Heating, & Air of Westminster, MD is currently hiring for a driven full-time Experienced Plumber Apprentice to assist our plumbing technicians in performing service while gaining the technical skills and knowledge to become a licensed journey plumber. This apprentice position works a full-time schedule from 7:45am-4:30pm and earns a competitive wage of up to $18 an hour. This paid training opportunity leads to a plumber/gasfitter license! Experienced Plumber Apprentice Requirements

As a Plumber Apprentice, you get to assist our plumbers out in the field at the homes and businesses of our customers. As you help them, they mentor you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly service equipment. You must be eager to learn the technical skills and knowledge to become a licensed journeyman plumber and happy to help. If you can do this and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!

• Current Maryland Plumbing Apprenticeship License
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from heights or small crawl spaces
• Physical ability and willingness to work outside in whatever mother nature throws your way
• Basic tool skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Able to work nights and weekends

What We Need From You

As a full-time HVAC Service Technician for us, you will need to be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, as well as complete assigned preventative maintenance. If you can do this and meet the following requirements, we would be happy to have you as part of our team!

• Maryland Board of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration license
• EPA Certification
• Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to split systems/heat pumps, gas & oil fired furnaces, and ductless mini splits
• Experience with geothermal systems and sheet metal
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
